Michael has developed a broad base of experience over his career. He served in key project roles throughout his 7 year tenure at Holden Architects. Michael was directly responsible for the project teams that generated $50 million dollars of New and Renovated Construction. He is well versed in all aspects of design, cost analysis, field investigation, field verification and construction administration. Michael is a detailing and code specialist that has exceled at providing constructible, maintenance free, code compliant solutions for his clients. Michael left Holden to form MKE Architects in 2014.


Michael is no stranger to demanding projects that require coordination and attention to detail. He was responsible for the $23,000,000 renovation of the U.S. Naval Lakeside Barracks in Pascagoula, MS for NAVFAC Southeast, while at Holden. This project was a complete renovation of 150,000 SF of barracks space. This complex phased project involved taking a majority of the facility down to essential structure and rebuilding the exterior skin, roofing and interior to meet current construction standards and required that the building achieve LEED Gold. Mission Accomplished! This facility was completed on time and on budget and met the U.S. Navy's exacting standards.       

 In addition to Mr. Kennedy's exemplary performance on the Lakeside Barracks, he served as the Project Manager for the following key projects while at Holden: Claycut Fire Station, LSU Soccer Stadium(1st 0 dollar Change Order Project in history of the TAF) and LSU Tennis Facility.
