Our story begins with the love of building things. It started at a very young age with building blocks and clubhouses. It grew into helping our fathers, whom where both General Contractors, with projects big and small. These childhood memories and experiences lead us to become Architects.
We worked together for 8 years to help grow a successful midsize firm in Baton Rouge. We were responsible for many of the firms high profile projects, performing the roles of Principal and Project Manager respectively for these works. Our teamwork and dedication to these projects and clients built many long lasting relationships and allowed us to develop a broad base of experience. Despite this success we realized that we wanted to create something new and uniquely different that would be rooted in those early childhood memories.
The purity of the idea of using the imagination to make things that influence people’s lives is what lead to the formation of MKE Architects. We have built MKE in the spirit of creativity rooted in reality that we experienced making things with our fathers. Collaborative and competent design that brings value to every project is the next chapter.
